Hawaii Flag Unveiled at Fort McHenry

This Hawaii flag was acquired by Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore for a special 4th of July program honoring the 50th anniversary of Hawaii's star being added to the American flag.

Volunteers and park staff raise the Hawaiian flag over Fort McHenry, where the "Star Spangled Banner" was written.

The Hawaiian flag was commissioned a couple years after Fort McHenry became famous during the War of 1812.
